Hyperlocal — Kokapet & Neopolis

Home Automation in Kokapet

Kokapet is where Hyderabad is building its next generation of luxury — large new villas and ultra-premium high-rises across Neopolis and the ORR edge. Here, the single biggest decision is timing: automation planned during construction is dramatically better than anything retrofitted after you move in.

The corridor being built right now

Kokapet — and the planned Neopolis layout beside it — is one of the few parts of Hyderabad where most premium homes are still under construction. Gated villa communities, 30- and 40-storey towers, sprawling 4 and 5 BHK units with private terraces, clubhouses and EV-ready basements. Connected to Gachibowli, the Financial District and HITEC City by the ORR, it has become the address of choice for buyers who want new, large and future-proof.

That single fact — new build, walls still open — is the whole opportunity. When conduit, network cabling and a control backbone are planned before plastering and flooring, you get a cleaner, more reliable, far more capable home for a fraction of the disruption a retrofit demands later.

Why wiring it during construction wins

01

First-fix done right

We hand your contractor a wiring and conduit plan so the correct cabling and a KNX/Control4 spine go in before walls close — no chasing finished surfaces later.

02

Future-proof backbone

A wired spine for lighting, climate, curtains and AV that expands as you add rooms, EV chargers or a cinema — not a patchwork of wireless add-ons.

03

Villa-scale, done once

Large Kokapet villas span three or four floors. We design the whole-home system as one project so control is consistent from basement gym to terrace.

04

Built around your interiors

Keypad positions, cove and accent lighting, and AV are coordinated with your interior designer while there's still time to place them perfectly.

Lighting and automation, designed together

We are an architectural lighting design studio first — so in a new Kokapet villa we design the lighting and the automation that controls it as one scheme, on Control4 or KNX with DALI dimming. If your home is part of a larger new development, our new gated communities page covers planning around a builder's possession timeline. Already moved in elsewhere? Questions we are asked

When should I involve an automation team for my new Kokapet villa?

As early as the structure and electrical layout stage. The biggest gains in Kokapet come from planning conduit, network cabling and a KNX backbone before plastering and flooring. Bring us in once interiors are being designed — well before handover — and almost nothing needs to be opened up later.

My Kokapet home is still under construction — can you coordinate with my contractor?

Yes. We work alongside your builder, architect and electrical contractor, providing wiring schematics and a first-fix plan so the right cables and conduits go in at the right time. We then return at second-fix to install and commission once interiors are ready.

Is a wired KNX system worth it for a new villa, or is wireless enough?

For a new-construction villa where walls are still open, a wired KNX or Control4 backbone is the future-proof choice — more reliable, expandable and resilient than wireless alone. We typically design a hybrid: a wired spine for lighting and core control, wireless for additions. The point is to wire it once, properly.
